New Year, Better You
It’s that time of the year again when people make their New Year’s resolutions because of the whole “new year, new me!” And yet, we know that New Year’s resolutions don’t last long even with the best intentions.
Last year, I swore off the #goals and hustler mindset and focused on being consistent with good habits. That meant I did less and didn’t reach all of my goals, but I still grew personally and professionally without getting burnt out.
This month, I’m reading James Clear’s book Atomic Habits to help me stay on this path. He's an expert on habit formation (who knew that was a thing??) and his book talks about how the problem is not us, but the system we're using.
