Exposing Imposter Syndrome Workshop
Time & Location
About the Event
Have you ever been hard on yourself for not being "good enough"?
This is a form of imposter syndrome which is common among modern and ambitious women. Despite being highly educated and skilled at what you do (with the receipts to prove it), you still feel like you have to prove yourself or you are undeserving of your success. A quick Google search suggests that you just need to be "more confident," but what if you don't know how?
In this introductory workshop on imposter syndrome, we will cover:
- The five types of imposter syndrome (perfectionist, natural genius, expert, super-person, and soloist).
- Common misconceptions of imposter syndrome.
- Actionable next steps that you can apply to your daily life or workplace.
You can expect an interactive conversation in a safe and compassionate space. In our workshops, we practice vulnerability to create connections and promote inner healing.
This is a professional development opportunity that may be eligible for Professional Development Units (PDU). You do not have to be employed or in a leadership position to attend this workshop. The only requirements are that you are a woman (or a person who identifies as a woman) who is seeking personal growth as a leader.
